Sustainability

With climate change and plastic pollution a growing concern for businesses and individuals around the world, our impact on the environment is never far from our minds. As a family-run business, we’re passionate about providing you with sustainable printing and display solutions; we want to play our part in protecting the environment so it can be enjoyed by future generations.

Our team constantly searches the market for high-quality, sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics and harsh chemicals. Plus, thanks to our strong relationships with manufacturers across the globe, we’re always in the know about innovative new developments, so we can offer these as soon as they become available.

All of that means, from January 2022, we’ll give you a price for sustainable alternatives as part of your quotation as standard. It’ll help you to understand the options and the cost implications for your business.

Sustainable Printing & Production Processes

Our factory holds ISO:14001 accreditation for its environmental credentials and we work hard to maintain this.

As a result, we invest in the latest technologies to ensure that we have a minimal impact on the environment. For instance, our curing machines now use low-energy LED lights, while our lithographic processes have been water and chemical-free for more than a decade

As new technology and sustainable processes become available, we will seek to introduce these wherever possible.

Sustainable Materials

We work with leading suppliers and can provide a range of substrates and vegetable-based inks when producing printed content.

We’ll also find alternatives to plastics. For instance, plastic foam boards (such as Foamex) can be replaced by a 100% recyclable board made of paper, while PVC banners can be replaced by recyclable polypropylene alternatives. We can even supply beach flags made from recycled PET.

Advice

If your business is looking to make more sustainable choices, our team can help. We’ll talk you through the options available while being transparent about cost.

And if you have a display and you’re unsure whether it can be recycled, give us a call. We can explain what the different recycling symbols mean and how to dispose of them, so you can rest assured that you’re doing all you can.
