International ice-cream manufacturer Froneri supplies tubs, sticks and cones to retailers and outlets around the world. With household brands – including Cadbury, Nestle, Mövenpick and Kelly’s of Cornwall – in its product roster, Froneri’s point-of-sale displays reflect the quality of its brands.

The Challenge

Froneri UK’s customers need POS displays and promotional items to drive in-store ice-cream sales. From pavement signs to freezer stickers, they want eye-catching displays that impress and excite customers. 

With requests for promotional items received from retailers across the country, Froneri sought a streamlined, reliable process, capable of delivering high-quality signage to stores across the UK, ensuring strong ice-cream sales throughout the year.

The Solution

Having supplied promotional items to Froneri UK for several years, BDH Tullford was invited to pitch for supply chain management. The company needed a partner able to understand and handle the whole POS display process, from providing artwork and overseeing stock levels, to managing storage and distribution channels. 

In response, BDH Tullford Director James Fox developed a unique online stock management portal, allowing Froneri’s customers to quickly and simply place an order, while the business itself could oversee stock levels at a glance. When levels get low, BDH Tullford can either manufacture or order additional items, managing external suppliers wherever necessary. 

This sits alongside our warehousing and distribution services, ensuring that promotional items arrive on time and in great condition.

This is all supported by our in-house design team. They provide creative input on signage projects where needed, supplying artwork guidelines and checking final proofs, so every project is completed to a high standard. 

The Results

The transparent supply chain, alongside time and cost savings, meant that Froneri UK introduced the system to its European counterparts, securing a two-year contract in the process, handling the POS production process across Europe, delivering displays to outlets in several nations.
